Gas crisis intensifies in Sindh, supply to private power plants suspended

The gas crisis in the country intensified after which the supply of gas to non-export industries was cut off for three days.

In Sindh, Sui Southern is facing severe shortage of gas pressure due to gas crisis, while Sui Southern is also facing shortage of RLNG supply. Has been closed until 8 a.m. Monday and will be restored.

Spokesman Sui Southern said that the arrival of LNG ship has been delayed due to strong waves in the sea, gas shortage is being distributed under the load management plan.

He said that uninterrupted gas would be provided to domestic consumers.

On the other hand, the FPCCI rejected Sui Southern’s decision to shut off unannounced gas to industries for three days.
