Israeli minister calls for ‘complete destruction’ after Hamas kills 8 soldiers

Israel’s extremist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has called for “the complete destruction of the enemy” in Gaza after a Hamas ambush killed eight Israeli soldiers in Rafah on Saturday.

Earlier enraged Israeli forces have torched and razed dozens of houses in Rafah after a Hamas ambush killed eight Israeli soldiers, Al Jazeera reported.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has termed the Hamas attack on soldiers in Rafah as “another heavy price” for Israel’s “just war” on Gaza.
