SHIKARPUR: A few robbers looted the hefty amount from the shop of cloth store situated at Resham Gali in the limits of Stuart Ganj Police Station, here on late another day.
It was reported that the amount Rs:150,000/= was looted by a few unknown assailants from the shop of cloth store of Zubair Memon and managed to escape from the place of incident.
Following the information area, police rushed on the spot and examined the crime scene, and started its investigation.
Samiullah Shaikh, the leader of the small trader union, told this scribe that the incidents of looting traders are increasing day by day therefore, traders are feeling insecure in these circumstances, however, he described that area police have summoned three days to recover the looted amount, he, however, threatened that if the looted amount was not recovered, the traders union would make its further strategy to launch an agitation.
On the other hand, Zahid Bhanbhro, the QAT leader of the Shikarpur chapter, expressed his displeasure and dismay over increasing the incidents of looting traders, snatching motorcycles, and the incidents of kidnapping and termed that SSP Shikarpur Kamran Nawaz Panjotha has failed to maintain law and order situation in Shikarpur and demanded the Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana and the Additional Inspector General of Police Sukkur and other higher authorities to take notice of the deteriorating situation of law and order and play their role to maintain law and order situation in Shikarpur, otherwise, he also threatened to extend the protest circle across Sindh for the larger interests of the people of Shikarpur on the platform of QAT.
