Three-day futsal coaching and referee course concludes in Karachi

KARACHI :  Bisconny and Chase Up sponsored three day futsal coaching and referee course ended today with the closing ceremony at Union Club today. The event was organized by Sindh Women Futsal Association (SWFA) and Diya Women Football Club (DWFC).
During the closing ceremony, the general secretary of Pakistan Soccer Futsal Federation (PSFF), Mubasshir Sanjrani said that we want that Pakistani futsal teams to reach at  their maximum level and meet the standard of international teams. In this connection PSFF is trying its level best with the cooperation and assistance of all stakeholders of provincial bodies and organizing 3-day coaching and referee course at different cities which will provide benefit to all participants.
The pioneer and president of DWFC and provincial head of SWFA, Sadia Sheikh stated that new rules, techniques and awareness provided by the international coaches,  teachers and referees
will help improve futsal at grassroot level as well as in the youth too.


Forty six men and women from different parts of Sindh participated in this course which was held from 4th to 6th March. The Brazilian coaches Celso Luis Marquis and Rubyany Brandao provided training tips of physical training and techniques of futsal to participants.
Karachi’s general secretary, Amina Hussain paid rich tribute to Sadia Sheikh for her extraordinary struggle and cooperation for the development of futsal and wellbeing of players.
Nausheen Ahmedjee vice president thanked Mubashir Sanjrani and  Samira Chisti President Karachi WFA said it was great to see so many people from different fields and different cities of Sindh under one roof.
Ahmed Ali Rajput, general secretary of Sindh Olympic Association (SOA) said that futsal is an old game but introduced now properly in Pakistan and it’s great SWFA is working hard for the improvement and development of this game. Brazilian coaches Celso Luis Marques and Rubyany Brando along with others also spoke to the audience and shared their experiences.
Certificates, shields were presented at the end of the occasion to guests and sponsors by SWFA for their help in promotion of the sport.
Kiran Qureshi and Yaseer Arafat scored highest marks in the exam which was taken at the end of the day.
renowned sports personalities Khalid Rehmani and Mishi Zehra were also at the occasion.
