ACTED Pakistan organizes event on “Increased Employment Opportunities for Vulnerable and Disadvantaged Youth Groups in Pakistan”

KANDHKOT: ACTED Pakistan organized A very interactive event under the project “Increased Employment Opportunities for Vulnerable and Disadvantaged Youth Groups in Pakistan” at Kandhkot with the purpose of inviting different stakeholders and presenting ACTED’s most innovative and integrated model in TVET sector followed by job fair and toolkit distribution. Different stakeholders including District administration with ADC-1, Health department, Social Welfare department, Persons with disabilities rehabilitation Department, NGOs, Scouts officials, Educationist, Pvt. Companies, Microfinance banks, Business Activist, Contractors and several other did participate in the event. In the Event Mr. Sardar Muhammad Khalid Coordinator Sindh, Mr. Nisar Ahmed (Project Manager) Mr. Khawar Khan (Project Coordinator) elaborated the projects activities and success. There was a panel discussion as well with the objective to identify and upscale this ACTED’s innovative model for youth development and empowerment. During the concluding remarks, Mr. Mohammad Khan, ADC- did appreciate ACTED’s efforts and contribution in youth empowerment and extending his full support and facilitation for future intervention with ACTED Pakistan especially on skill development, youth empowerment and employment. At the end, certificates and toolkits where also distributed to successful graduates of different trades.
