Changing way of aid, Saudi Arabia will no longer give unconditional foreign grants: Finance Minister

Saudi Finance Minister Muhammad Al-Jadaan says that Saudi Arabia will no longer give unconditional foreign grants and we are changing the way we give aid to foreign countries.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum, Saudi Finance Minister Mohammad Al-Jadaan said that we are working with multilateral institutions and want to see reforms, we are taxing our people and we expect others to do the same, we want to help. But we want others to play their role.

Saudi Finance Minister said that along with increasing our economy, we are also working on helping the world economy, Saudi Arabia will no longer give unconditional foreign grants, we are changing the way we give aid to foreign countries, we will direct grants and deposits. They used to give which they are changing now.

Mohammed al-Jadaan said that Saudi Arabia is committed to increasing international cooperation from all countries, we want to be a role model for the region and are encouraging the countries around us to reform.
