GDA accuses PPP of harassing its supporters in Town Committee Chak

SHIKARPUR: GDA candidates for six wards of Town Committee Chak addressed a press conference at the Shikarpur Press Club on Thursday. Addressing on the occasion, the GDA leaders, who included Ghulam Mustafa Mahar, Mohsin Mahar, Imran Sethar, Abdul Rab Ansari, Raees Shahbaz Ali and Ghulam Ali Soomro said that their supporters are being harassed by the SHO of Chak Police Station on the behest of the PPP leaders. Their party workers have also been tortured by the police without any cause. Ghulam Ali Soomro accused PPP’s Dr Naveed Mahar of issuing dire threats to him. On the occasion, the speakers demanded of the SSP Shikarpur to take notice of the matter and provide justice to them.
