Immortal language against the journalists of Badin would not be accepted: HUJ Badin

BADIN: Immortal and inappropriate language against the journalists of Badin would not be accepted and bear at any cost. The journalists were providing the coverage of all political, religious and social events without any discrimination of cost and creed.
These views were expressed by the heads of Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ) including Shoukat Memon, president, HUJ Badin unit, Lala Haroon Gopang, General Secretary, HUJ Badin unit, Tanweer Ahmed Arain, President, Badin Press Club, Haji Mehmood Ghuman, President, Awan-e-Sahafat and others while holding an important meeting at Awan-e-Sahafat Badin on Wednesday.
Media representatives sternly condemned
exercise of immortal and inappropriate language against the journalists of Badin adding that some political elements were uploading baseless & unsuitable posts on social media against the senior journalists of Badin including ‘District Reporter’ Time News & Daily Panhanji Akhbar.
The journalists vowed that character assassination and smear of the sincere and hard-working journalists would not be bear at any cost.
They decided that the committee comprising of the representatives of Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ) unit Badin and president & General Secretary of Badin Press Club and Awan-e-Sahafat would devise the plan to conduct meetings with political party’s heads of district, provincial and central and apprise them about their complaints and fears and would record their peaceful protests against injustice with journalists of Badin.
On the occasion, they will demand legal action against those elements who were involved in character assassination and levelling false allegations against the journalists.
They said that in case of low response, they will consult with journalistic organizations and unions at District, Divisional, provincial and Federal levels and would prepare the strategy and may be announce boycott of coverage of respective political party and initiate the protest against such ill minded elements.
