SUKKUR: Control of road accidents, protection of lives and property of the people and implementation of CORONA SOPs issued by NCOC is the joint responsibility of Motorway Police and Public Transport, Public Transport. Directed by SP Motorway Police Sector Sukkur Javed Iqbal Chadhar during an important meeting held at the SP Office Sukkur with the officials and owners of the company. An important meeting was held with the public transport officials and owners at SP Motorway Office Sukkur Sector on the special instructions of IG Motorway Syed Kaleem Imam to ensure strict implementation of SOPs and save the people from contagious epidemics like Karuna. A large number of transporters including Public Transport Officer Muhammad Saleem Bandhani, President High S Van Sukkur Multan and Sukkur Larkana Van Association Vice President Ghora Khan Mehr, General Secretary Zahoor Ahmad Korai participated in it. On the occasion, SP Motorway Sukkur Sector Javed Iqbal Chadhar said that it was the responsibility of all of us to ensure safety of life and property of the people, control of road accidents and implementation of SOPs issued by NCOC. Coronavirus can be prevented only by taking precautionary measures. In this regard, the public transport staff must ensure vaccination against coronavirus while ensuring compliance with the instructions of the NCOC, while according to the instructions of the Motorway Police. Photocopies of route permit and driver’s license should be displayed on the inside of the vehicle’s windscreen. In case of violation, strict action will be taken. During the meeting, the transporters informed about the problems faced regarding route permit and license, on which SP Motorway Sukkur Sector Javed Iqbal Chadhar said that Relevant institutions for resolving issues regarding route permits and licenses to transporters. It will be written so that the problems faced by the transporters can be resolved as soon as possible. On this occasion, the transporters expressed their full confidence in the Motorway Police and assured their full cooperation. DSP Headquarters Khalid Mahmood Nawaz and Other motorway officials also attended.
