Inflation on rise in Jacobabad

JACOBABAD : Inflation peaked in Jacobabad, chicken meat became Rs 360 per kg, prices of vegetables, fruits and groceries skyrocketed, the district administration became a silent spectator, citizens worried, according to details Poultry meat is being sold at Rs 360 per kg, okra, arvi at Rs 120 per kg, ginger at Rs 400 per kg, wheat at Rs 250 per kg, apples at Rs 120 per kg while prices of vegetables, fruits and other food items have skyrocketed. Abdul Razzaq, Riaz Ali, Shankar Lal, Shaista, Mohammad Usman and Others protested that the citizens were being robbed by creating artificial inflation but the district administration did not take any action on it. DC is confined to his office. If DC cannot work, another officer should be transferred and appointed. Those who can fulfill their responsibilities well have demanded that action be taken against the peddlers and relief be given to the people.
