JACOBABAD: Business organizations protests against growing unrest in Jacobabad city, shutter strike announced if unrest does not end.According to details, Jacobabad city business associations,Ahmed Ali Brohi President Chamber of Commerce , Lal Chand Seetlani President Hindu General Panchayat , Haji Muhammad Yousif Memon President Sarafa Union, Manzoor panhwar Fertilizer Market union held a press conference at the press club Jacobabad yesterday. It has been said that Unrest has escalated in the city, burglary and robbery have become a daily occurrence, people in business are being looted in public, but the police and the administration are nowhere to be seen, making business people insecure. Lal Chand, President, Hindu General Panchayat, said on the occasion that Hindu businessmen and minorities have once again become insecure in the city and illegal extortion is being taken from them. The Hindu merchants of the city pay monthly extortion to the local influential here and then go and do business.”We have reported the whole situation to SSP Jacobabad but no notice has been taken and there the situation in the city is the same as it was,” the business leaders said. They said the unrest had destroyed the city’s business and the citizens were in a state of panicThey gave an ultimatum that if the situation was not taken notice of immediately and the situation was not brought under control, businessmen and citizens would be forced to shut down their businesses in the city.
