JESTs, ECTs demand annual increment and pay protection in Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: The IBA test passed JESTs and ECTs, who had been recruited in 2019, took out a protest rally against the non provision of annual increment and pay protection to them on Sunday. The rally was led by President of GSTA Shikarpur Syed Rashid Ali Shah, Kamran Ali Jamali, Agha Salman Pathan, Zahoor Ahmed, Rashid Ahmed Shaikh and others, who marched through different parts of the city. While talking to the media, the protest leaders demanded of the Sindh Government to grant annual increment to them by issuing their salaries under the pay protection basic code 0001 instead of 0039. On the occasion, the protesting teachers demanded of the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah to take notice of the problems of the IBA test passed teachers and provide basic facilities to them.
