KP caretaker chief minister Azam Khan dies

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s caretaker Chief Minister Mohammad Azam Khan died on Saturday just a day after he was admitted to a hospital, Geo News reported.

Khan was taken to Peshawar’s Hayatabad Medical Complex after he fell ill and suffered a heart attack. He was kept in the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU).

His funeral prayer will be held in his native town of Prang, Charsadda at 3:30pm today. He will be laid to rest in the same place.
