PML-N leader and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has clearly stated that Maryam Nawaz is not a candidate for the post of Prime Minister, she is not eligible to contest elections. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said in an interview that whenever elections are our Prime Minister Candidate will be Shahbaz Sharif.
PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi further said that it is usually the case that whoever is the party president becomes the prime minister, Shahbaz Sharif is the party president and he will be our candidate.
