Minor girl dies of measles in Ghouspur

KANDHKOT: A 2-year-old girl named Yasina, resident of Ghouspur died of measles on Wednesday. After the death of the minor girl the local people have expressed concern over the performance of the Health Department for not providing better healthcare facilities at hospitals. They added that several other children have also been affected by measles in their area but the concerned authorities have still not taken notice of the matter. On the occasion, they demanded the higher authorities to send medical teams to their area and launch the vaccination campaign against measles in Kashmore-Kandhkot district, otherwise they have threatened to launch a protest movement.
