Penalty on slow over rate, ICC changes T20 playing conditions

The International Cricket Council has changed the playing conditions of T20 matches.

According to the ICC, the changes in the playing conditions of the T20 match will take effect this month. I have introduced penalty on slow over rate.

Fielders will remain within 30 yards of the rest of the innings as a result of the slow overrate under the ICC’s slow over rate penalty.

The ICC Governing Body has also introduced an optional interval for water during innings, with an additional interval of 2 minutes 30 seconds between innings.

The new rules for the ICC T20 will apply to the match between the West Indies and Ireland on January 16.
