PFUJ protests against curbing media freedom, non-provision of wages, downsizing.

SHIKARPUR: Shikarpur Union of Journalists under the umbrella of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists recorded its protest against curbing media freedom, non-provision of wages, and downsizing at Shikarpur Press Club, here on Tuesday.
Agha Israr Pathan, the president of PFUJ Shikarpur chapter, and Sodho James, the newly elected president of the Shikarpur Press Club were leading the protest.
Speaking on the occasion, leaders including Zahid Noon, Nazeer Qureshi, Abdul Khalique, and others expressed their great reservations on curbing media freedom, non-provision of wages, and downsizing and demanded the high up to take notice of the issue and release advertisements for print and electronic media to survive and said that their protest would be continued until their demands would not meet.
Jameel Mahar, Zulfikar Magsi, Iftikhar Arain, Zahid Sanjrani, Hakeem Jatoi, Sultan Soomro, Abdul Jabbar Abro, Ibrahim Brohi, Wasim Sanjrani, Imran Arain, Aslam Jatoi, and others also participated and raised slogans against curbing media freedom.
