Poor performance of Shikarpur police criticized

SHIKARPUR: The leader of All Shikarpur Small Trader Samiullah Shaikh strongly criticized the poor, dissatisfaction and the disappointing performance of Shikarpur Police and said that Shikarpur police have completely failed to maintain law and order situation owing to increasing incidents of looting traders, motorcycles, and dacoities in Shikarpur city and said that a Rice trader namely Suresh Kumar was deprived of amounting to 50000 by unknown armed assailants, a cloth trader namely Zuhaib Memon was deprived of amounting 150000 by unknown armed assailants, a Rice Mill trader Teerath Das was looted at gunpoint and deprived of amounting Rs.3 Lac and a Karyana trader namely Jaipal Das was deprived of amounting to 40 Lacs, but Shikarpur police still just searching the clues, but unfortunately, it has no clues so far.
Mr. Samiullah Shaikh further said that all the incidents took place during the posting of SSP Kamran Nawaz Panjotha which seems he has failed before criminals and outlaws, therefore, criminals and outlaws roaming in the city to loot the traders, but SSP Shikarpur is not ready to cooperate with traders which he termed sheer injustice.
Besides, Mr Shaikh further said that after the incidents of looting traders’ no one is ready to do his business in Shikarpur, because traders have become anxious, he, however, demanded the higher authorities take notice of the increasing incidents of looting traders in the daylight.
Mr. Zahid Bhanbhro, the QAT leaders shikarpur, & Abdul Wahab Kagzi, former chairman of Save Shikarpur, termed that SSP Shikarpur has failed to maintain law and order situation and announced a protest movement on the platform of Shikarpur Bachayo Tehreek would be initiated against SSP Shikarpur in which he has one agenda to transfer SSP Shikarpur Kamran Nawaz from Shikarpur, otherwise Shikarpur must bear a big loss.
