Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minallah remarked in a case related to the affidavit of former Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Justice Rana Shamim to show any order of this court in which it is suspected that the judge has been influenced.
The case regarding affidavit of Rana Shamim was heard in the Islamabad High Court by Chief Justice Athar Minallah.
Justice Athar Minallah while talking to senior journalist Ansar Abbasi said that Ansar Abbasi, your request has come, tell me where is the clerical error in the order? I am also being educated through these procedures.
Ansar Abbasi said that it was written in the order that even if there were false facts, I would publish it in the public interest. I did not say anything like that.
