Sarmad’s voice will echo in Sindh for centuries: Sami Baloch

KARACH: Sharing his views with Daily News on the 21st death anniversary of Sarmad Sindhi, Sami Baloch, a renowned producer and poet has said that the voice of Sarmad will echo in Sindh for the centuries. He was the first Sindhi singer who was equally popular in children, youths and aged people. He was gifted with a celestial voice which had an ability of attracting people and he fought for the rights of people of Sindh through his songs. He was the prince of national songs and left this world when he was at the peaks of popularity. Sami, who introduced Sarmad Sindhi on PTV, also prayed for the departed soul to be under the showers of Allah’s blessings.
