Sindhi Adabi Sangat celebrates Jashn Asif Misrani

HYDERABAD: Sindhi Adabi Sangat Sindh celebrated “Jashn Asif Misrani” in memory of renowned poet Ahmed Khan Asif Misrani at Hyderabad Press Club. The first session of the celebration was held at Makhdoom Talib-ul-Mulai Literary Conference. Khadim, Gulbadin Javed Mirza, Apa Nazir Naz, Malhar Sindhi, Badar Samejo and Altaf Malkani and many others. The first session was moderated by Mehboob Sindhi, while in the beginning Shah’s Wai Anu Solangi. The second session of the celebration was on  “Mumtaz Mirza’s Literary Services” in which  Qazi Khadim, Naseer Mirza, Zulfiqar Halepoto, Rauf Paras Dawood, Javed Mirza and Ghulam Nabi Soomro expressed thier views The moderator of the session was Agha Zafar. After the second session, young singer Javed Faqir, nephew of Shafi Faqir showed his performance. The third session of the celebration was on Ahmed Khan Asif Misrani’s, art and personality and was moderated by Naseer Mirza. Prof. Sarwar Saif, Naeem Malik, Shafi Chandio, Gulbadin Javed Mirza  shared their  views. Shaheed Fazal Raho’s daughter Shahnaz Raho presented Ajraks to Gulbadan Javed Mirza, Shabnam Gul and Naseer Mirza. The event was presided over by young poet Ain Sehar. The special guest was Khaki Jani, Central Joint Secretary of Sindhi Adabi Sangat. Honorary guests were Udas Solangi, Ashiq Solangi, Raza Dahri, Mumtaz Sial and others.
