Thinkers Tribe pays glowing tribute to education legend Prof Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui

SUKKUR: On the occasion of his first anniversary tribute was paid to Prof Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui, founder of Sukkur IBA University, through a webinar organized by Thinkers Tribe, a platform for social change through collective efforts. Dr. Kamran Ahmed Soomro (Co-founder of Thinkers Tribe and Assistant Professor at SZABIST Karachi) hosted the session. Sukkur IBA faculty, alumni, and social activists were invited to highlight the life and achievements of a bureaucrat, educationist, and social change leader, Prof Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui.

Panelists included Dr. Altaf Samo (Director EDC, Sukkur IBA University) Dr. Waheed Ali (Ex faculty, Sukkur IBA University, Associate professor at KSBL Karachi) Mr. Abdul Khaliq Daudpota (Assistant Professor, Sukkur IBA University) Mr. Mansoor Shahzad Akber Soomro (Director Thinkers Tribe /Banking Professional) Mr. Naseer Memon (Intellectual/Writer) Mr. Fayaz Hussain Rahujo (Ex-Faculty Sukkur IBA University, CSP Officer) Ms. Abeera Qazi (Alumnus Sukkur IBA University/ Marketing Expert), and Dr. Ruqaiya Shaikh (Alumnus Sukkur IBA University, Post-doctoral fellow at China).

Speakers shared their views about extraordinary efforts of Prof Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui in the field of education and development. They appreciated his vision to establish Sukkur IBA University as a world class educational institute, and lauded his dedication to spread the network of community colleges. They said Mr. Siddiqui religiously practiced the slogan of Merit, Quality and Excellence, that’s why he became successful in delivering his promises. His colleagues recalled his compassionate attitude towards all including his team; they remember him as a leader not as a boss. Alumni expressed their gratitude towards him for opening up abundant scholarship opportunities that really helped students from underprivileged areas to pursue their dreams of getting higher education and starting their successful career. Speakers concluded that we can learn a lot from the life and struggle of Prof Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui for establishing successful educational institutions for the development of society.
The webinar was broadcasted live on Facebook and was actively participated by fans and appreciators of Prof. Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui.
