Tourist entry closed into Murree due to severe traffic jam

Tourist entry in the country’s tourist destination Murree has been banned due to snow and emergency.

Tourism arrives in Murree with snowfall. Millions of vehicles entered the city, causing severe rush and the worst traffic jams on the roads.

According to Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, there is an emergency due to the continuous snowfall in Murree and it has been decided to close the entrance to Murree to deal with the emergency.
He said the decision to close the entrance to Murree was caused by heavy snowfall and tourist rush, tourists were blocked in vehicles and the rush caused emergency.

He said the administration and police were motivated to evacuate the trafficking people.

On the other hand, Home Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed appealed to tourists visiting Murree and Goliath to avoid tourists, especially families from Murree and Goliath.

He says the growing rush has temporarily barred tourists from traveling to Murree and Goliath.

The interior minister said that tourists traveling to Murree and Goliath would not be allowed to cross the 17-mile interchange, except in the event of an emergency, citizens would be allowed to travel to Murree and Goliath.
