Unknown armed assailants looted the hefty amount from a trader

SHIKARPUR: The incidents of snatching motorbikes have become a routine issue, but once again slowly and gradually the law and order of Shikarpur are deteriorating when a few unknown armed assailants intercepted a trader namely Ravi Kumar when he was heading towards his Shahnishah Mill, outside the Anaj Mandi, in the limits of Stuart Ganj police Station, here on the first day of the week.
After looting the cash amounting to Rs. 9 Lacs armed assailants managed to escape from the place of the incident.
Following the incident, the traders of the Shikarpur including Samiullah Shaikh, the president of All Small Traders Association Shikarpur, expressed their great reservations and strongly condemned the incident, and demanded the SSP Shikarpur and ASP Shikarpur to recover the looted amount.
After hearing the news, ASP Shikarpur Sayed Fazil Bukhari, rushed on the spot and collected the information, and ensured the victim for early recovery and arrest of criminals.
Neither an FIR was registered nor any arrest was made till the filing of this news file.
