Accountability Court issues non-bailable arrest warrant of taluka mukhtiarkar Jati Issued

SUJAWAL: An accountability Court of Karachi issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Mukhtiarkar of Taluka Jati district Sujawal Mr. Rafique Memeon after taking exception to his persistent absence from the proceeding of the reference filed against him by National Accountability Bureau.
The National Accountability Bureau filed a reference against him after he was found allegedly involved in the fraudulent mutation of title deed in the form of right of a 1200 acre agricultural land situated in Thatta in 2015 when he was posted as Taluka Mukhtiarkar Thatta in 2015. According to the source he has been involved in corruption scams on different occasions and was also sent behind the bars for 3 years in a graft case.
As per details his absence was condoned twice by his lawyer but during the last hearing Judge of the accountability court, Munawar Sultana expressed her exasperation over the constant absence of Mukhtiarkar and directed the concerned police officials to produce before the court on July 28.
It was reliably known by this correspondent that the Mukhtiyarkar has the designation of Assistant Mukhtiarkar BPS:14 but he is holding the designation of a full-fledged Mukhtiyarkar that is BPS 16 by using his political influence in the area. The sources said that the accused Mukhtiyarkar was involved in the tempering of revenue records in the past as well.
