KHAIRPUR :An Annual FlowerShow-2022 was inaugurated at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur organized by the Plantation & Beautification Section of University. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor and Mr. Ghulam Mustafa Phul, Commissioner Sukkur Division jointly inaugurated the Flower Show at the Central Lawn of Administration Block.
Talking on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said flowers are the beauty of the nature. Flowers attract the environment and are the main source of fragrance. The beauty of the flowers moulds the mind of the people towards nature friendly. Dr. Ibupoto remarked that the Plantation and Beautification Section is striving for the beautification of the University, He applauded the role of Senior Plantation Officer and his team for arranging this show in befitting manner.
Mr. Ghulam Mustafa Phul said the beauty of flowers is creating positive mindset in the society. I am of the opinion that the flowers of different verities are the source of appeal the youth to take part in this positive and healthy activities to grow the flowers in their surroundings and premises. Mr. Phul appreciated the endeavor of Vice Chancellor for taking the drastic measures for the friendly environment at the campus. He suggested the students to take part in the healthy activities and also prepare themselves for competitive examinations. Mr. Phul said that the Vice Chancellor nature loving and visionary personality.
Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor, Commissioners and other dignitaries also visited the scientific stalls set by the Centre for Biodiversity and Conservation. Mr. Rashid Ali Amur briefed them about the indigenous plants of desert and mountains areas.
Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Mashori, Dean Faculty of Arts & Languages, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali Junejo, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Qasid Hussain Mallah, Dean Faculty of Physical Sciences, Mr. Mureed Hussain Ibupoto and large number of Sectional Heads, teachers and students attended the flower show. The show will continue till March 15, 2022.
