Professors staged protest demanding the recovery of theft motorcycles

BADIN: Professors, lecturers and others employees of the colleges held protest in front of Islamia College Badin against the theft of motorcycles of professors of colleges demanding immediate recovery of motorcycles.

Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association Islamia College (SPLA) Unit Badin in front of college has staged a protest against the theft of motorcycles of Prof. Abdul Hameed Junejo and Prof. Khadim Dars and it was led by Prof. Zahruddin Chandio President of SPLA District, Profesor Shafi Muhammad Dal, Professor Arsahd Khaskheli, Professor Abdul Jabbar Jamali and Javid Khaskheli, president, Employees Union of Islamia College Badin on Wednesday.

The large number of the professors and college employees participated in the protest and raised slogans against the negligence of the police.

Speaking on the occasion, SPLA office bearers and others protestants while reacting strongly to the fact that the stolen motorcycles of the professors have not been recovered yet and alleged the police for negligence in the arrest of the thieves and said that the continuous raising the theft incidents in city Badin spread unrest among the residents was the reprehensible.

Expressing deep concern and regret over the raising incidents of theft in the district, protestants said that teachers, professors and common people of city were also suffering of the insecurity adding that if the stolen motorcycles were not recovered within a week span and the motorcycles thieves were not arrested than Professors, lecturers and employees of different colleges from across the district would demonstrate the protest in front of the SSP Badin office and stage a sit-in. On the occasion protestants also chanted slogans loudly against the negligence of police in delay of arresting the thieves.
