Urban Forest move begins at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur

SUKKUR :Social Forestry Division Khairpur In collaboration with Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur established Urban Plantation at the premises of University.
Vice Chancellor Begum Nusrat Bhutto Unversity Dr Samreen Hussain inauguarted the Urban Forest by planting the saplings of Neem and Kangi Palm,. On the occasion, Dr Samreen Hussain, Vice Chancellor BNBWU Sukkur, Director Students Affair, Anila Kiran Appreciated the efforts of Social Forestry Division Khairpur DFO Hosh Muhammad Shar and his team in extending full and extensive support in the establishment of Urban Forest. later Vice Chancellor BNBWU Sukkur, addressed the students to plant trees to combat climate change.
Meanwhile, at the event , students of women University and other officials also participated in the Plantation Campaign. Wherein, more than 500 saplings of Neem, Beer, & other indigenous species of various kinds were planted. Vice Chancellor and Administration thanked DFO Hosh Muhammad Shar and his team ,Dr Samreen VC BNBWU Sukkur, also invited DFO Social Forestry Division Khairpur for delivering lecture to the students of Women University Sukkur for the awareness and importance of Urban Forest in coping Urban pollution.
