Legal Rights Forum’s Four-Day Training Workshop concludes

KHAIRPUR: Legal Rights Forum’s Four-Day training workshop  on the Child Rights Framework and Skills for Positive Disciplining Training Program concluded. the workshop was designed to be interactive and participatory and Subjects covered in each training session include A Child’s Rights Framework- International, National and Local/Provincial level pro children Laws; Corporal and Humiliating Punishment-prevalence, attitudes, perceptions and behaviour; Forms and Impacts of Corporal and Humiliation Punishment (CPH) on children; Classroom Management and Stages of Child Development; Breaking CHP Myths and Discipline VS. Punishment; and Techniques of Positive Disciplining: Preventive and Curative. Trainees will attempt compulsory Pre and Post test to assess the level of capacity built among young pre-teachers.
Resource persons (trainers) included Mr. khalil Ahmed VC shah Abdul latif university, MPA Shamim Mumtaz, Mr. Mureed Register SALU, Mr Tahir iqbal CEO LRF, Ms.Farzana Jameel Khoso, chairman education faculty SALU, and Mr. Sajjad Ali Lolai CPU Project Coordinator LRF, Mr Ayaz Hussain Soomro , zahid Abro , Ghulam Qadir and large number of students were participated.
