The army seized power in the West African country of Burkina Faso
According to a foreign news agency, after the army overthrew President Roach Kabure’s government, he said in a statement that the government and parliament of Burkina Faso had been suspended.
The army announced on TV that all borders of Burkina Faso had been closed, and would return to the constitutional system in due time.
According to the army, all the people arrested during this period are in a safe place.
The army has not released any details regarding where the ousted President Roach Kabure is.
