Babar Azam lost the top position in T20, also declined in Tests

National team captain Babar Azam has been stripped of the number one position in T20 cricket and has also been relegated to Test cricket.

The ICC has released the latest Test and T20 rankings for the players, according to which England captain Joe Root is at number one in the Tests, while Australia’s Marin Leboschin is at the second position with the best ranking of his career.

Australia’s Steven Smith is third and New Zealand captain Ken Williamson is fourth.

In Test cricket, Pakistan captain Babar Azam has slipped one place from eighth to ninth position. Shaheen Shah is Afridi’s third number.

Pakistan’s Sajid Khan improved 52 places to 49th position while Hassan Ali is 10th among Test bowlers.
