Will work with Pakistan against Al Qaeda, ISIS and TTP: US Ambassador

US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Bloom has said that enhancing trade and economic relations with Pakistan is in US interest.

In a statement to the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Donald Bloom said that as ambassador he would urge Pakistan to take action against terrorist groups without any discrimination. Donald Bloom said that Pakistan would be urged to take action against Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Muhammad as well. Work will also be done to reduce it, both India and Pakistan will have to work for mutual and bilateral relations.

The US ambassador said that the treatment of minorities had tarnished Pakistan’s image, adding that voices would be raised for the rights of minorities and religious freedom, adding that Pakistan would be told not to harass journalists and human rights activists.
