ISLAMABAD : It is learned that only Shahbaz Sharif from Sharif family will be elected for the post of Prime Minister but if we talk today then Shahbaz Sharif is not acceptable for those who are important but if for any reason Shahbaz Sharif If not, Shahid Khaqan will be a candidate from outside the Abbasi Sharif family.
An informed PML-N source close to Nawaz Sharif said that Maryam Nawaz Sharif is not a candidate for the post of Prime Minister.
According to the source, the Sharif family has decided that in case of victory in the general election, if any member of the family has to be nominated for the post of Prime Minister, then he will be Shahbaz Sharif and if there is any first choice from outside the Sharif family. He is Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and interestingly, he is also acceptable to the ruling circles.
The source said that Nawaz Sharif is clear in his thinking regarding the nomination of Shahbaz Sharif and thinks that since Maryam has time now she can wait, however, through indirect messages to the top leadership of PML-N Attempts are being made to assure that Shahbaz Sharif is not acceptable.
