Badin celebrates Sindhi Cultural Day with traditional fervor

BADIN:The large numbers of the journalistic, Political, social and religious organizations have jointly celebrated the Sindh Cultural Day with traditional fervor and zeal by organizing the massive rally to celebrate the Sindhi Cultural Day on Sunday to highlight the Sindhi culture, history and heritage.
Many buildings in different towns and cities of district were decorated with flags and banners.
The massive rally was took place from Allah-wala chowk Badin while marching on the main way-fares of the city concluded at outside of Badin Press Club to express their love for Sindhi culture.
People of all ages, including youths, men, women and children, attired in Sindhi cultural dresses with Ajrak and Sindhi cap participated in the rally and other cultural programs in the district with large numbers.
During the rally, Sindh TV Network, KTN Network, Panji TV, Mehran TV, Dharti TV, Awaz TV and others took the front to lead the participants.
The representatives of Badin Press Club led Tanweer Ahmed Arain, Shoukat Memon, Abdul Shakoor Memon, Awan-e-Sahafat led Ghulam Mustafa, Shafi Mohammad Junejo & others, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Awami-e-Tehreek, Tajar Ittehad Badin, Sindh Tarki Passand Party, PPP Shaheed Bhutto, Najia Student Tanzeem Luwari Sharif, Motor Cycle Showroom Association, Medical Store Association, Cloth Association Badin, Pakistan Fisher Folk Forum and others took part in the rally.
The city Badin was reverberating with folk and cultural songs like “Jeay Sindh Jeay” (Long live Sindh). The whole area gave a festive look as people belonging to all walks of life and different political, social and other organizations mingled with and greeted each other during the course of the function.
On the occasion, talking with this inscribe, Senator Aajiz Dhamrah, Information Secretary, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh said that Sindh is the land of iconic poets, saints and spirituality adding that Sindhi civilization is over 5000 years old adding that Sindh has a rich culture and unique identity.
Provincial minister Sindh, Mohammad Ismail Rahu said that Sindh is smiling with the message of peace, love, humanity, harmony & cultural values adding that Sindh Cultural Day highlights the ever-green cultural values of the province.
Pir Noorullah Qureshi, Special Assistant, CM Sindh while extending his greetings to the people of Sindh, saying the “biggest heritage of the people of Sindh was their selfless love adding that Sindh is the land of Sufis and saints who always preached love, peace, unity and harmony.
Haji Taj Muhammad Mallah, MPA Sindh Assembly told that we have love and affection with Sindh land and have relation of esteem and love from thousands years long. Sindh culture day stress us to reiterate and recall the message of love and unity.
Other hand, Agha Shahnawaz Khan, Deputy Commissioner Badin said that people of Sindh has great love and passion for its culture adding he told that Sindh has a 5000 years old culture which is a celebration in itself adding that Sindh has always been a cultural hub of civilization and has the rich heritage.
