Soaring number of COVID – 19 in Badin concerns the civil society

BADIN: The increasing number of COVID – 19 in Badin district during fourth wave of the pandemic has concerned the citizens and civil society.
The prevailing wave has claimed life of young Mudassar Asghar Ghuman, nephew of Haji Khalid Mehmood Ghuman, president of Aiwan-e-Sahafat Badin. While young Suhail Akhtar Bagrani inhabitant of Luari Sharif near Badin also died of Corona virus. The young Mudassar Asghar Ghuman was laid to rest in Ghuman Abad of Khoski. The funeral was attended by large number of citizens, representatives of social and political parties, religious scholars, journalists and people from different walks of life.
It was learnt that about 270 people affected of COVID – 19 across the district were isolated in their houses despite of alarming danger of fourth wave of COVID – 19, the people were neglecting to follow SOPs adequately.
