Current situation of masses poses economic disorder: Saeed Ghani

BADIN: The current situation of the masses in the face of inflation, unemployment and economic disorder, PTI itself feared that its members National and Provincial Assemblies would deceive them.
These views were expressed by Sindh Education Minister, Saeed Ghani while talking with journalists at Khaskheli House Badin and MPA Badin, Haji Taj Muhammad Mallah’s residence during his visit of Badin on Sunday.
Mr Ghani said PPP will vehemently oppose any move that deviates from the constitution and the law. The Sindh Minister said Haleem Adil Shaik’s relatives farmhouse demolished due to illegal encroachment and expired tenure of 30 years lease saying that allegations of political victimization was baseless.
Mr. Ghani said for local body elections, it was essential that the census be notified and so for the CCI has not done and until they notified, neither new constituencies could be formed nor local body elections could be held.

Responding to questions from various journalists, Mr. Ghani said the Charter of Democracy has been discussed to prevent horse -trading and corruption and bring transparency in the elections, especially in the Senate elections. Mr. Ghani said the party which has proved the evidence of horse -trading in the internal elections by the committees formed by its chairman, was talking about transparency. He said “All opposition parties, including the PPP, have a clear position that they would not recognize or support any malicious, unconstitutional and illegal act,”.
In response to a question, Saeed Ghani said it was unfortunate that at present there were notables in the parliament who could not even win the election of a union council and they were unknown of the constitution of the country and the law.
Mr. Ghani said anti encroachment drive was being launched to get rid of the land and in such illegal encroachments, without any discrimination of political affiliation and drive to be continued across Sindh province. Responding to a question, Saeed Ghani said that ending illegal occupation was not a political retaliation.The Sindh Minister said recruitment policy was discussed and soon about 40 thousand teachers to be recruited in the province in single phase to tackle shortage of teachers.
Mr. Ghani said the matter of IBA qualified Head Masters was complicated as Sindh High Court Karachi verdict was against those Head Masters but Sindh High Court Hyderabad bench directed to release salaries in favour of them saying that the matter to be resolved soon.
