SHIKARPUR: A high-level meeting was carried out by Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Kashif Nabi Khuhro to chalk out the strategy to vacate the government buildings occupied by the influential persons of the area, on the directives issued by the supreme court of Pakistan, here on Friday.
Kashif Nabi Khurho, the DC Shikarpur, directed all the officers of the district to inform this office regarding the illegal occupation of the government offices by private people of the area on prescribed proforma so that after getting information such government office could be vacated and it will be utilized for the best interests of the government.
Kashif Nabi further said that it is crime to occupy government property and strict action would be taken against encroachers.
All the administrative officers of the district including Irrigation, Agriculture, Health, forests, and others participated in the meeting and ensured the DC Shikarpur that he would submit their report within three days.
