Chief Minister Sindh visits Shikarpur; condoles with heirs of martyred

SHIKARPUR: Sayed Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, visited the residences of Shaheed cops including Munwar Ali Jatoi, Abdul Khalique Solnagi, and private photographer Haseeb Shaikh, and expressed his great sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives of police cops.
Later, CM Sindh visited the place of the monument of Shuhda at Police Headquarter Shikarpur and wreath of flowers.
Syed Murad Ali Shah while speaking to the journalists in a public gathering said that I am here to condole with the heirs of Shuhda of cops and to encourage the Police and ensured the participants that dacoits would be taken to task further said that the operation against dacoits would be extended over the Katcha area of Shikarpur, Ghotki and Kashmore-Kandhkot which spread over the area of 150,000 Acres.
Replying to a question regarding the law and order situation, Mr. Chief Minister said that there was dacoit culture before the PPP government and after coming into power Pakistan People’s Party overcome the situation adding Shikarpur police have the courage to fight with dacoits and in this regard, 94 cops have sacrificed their precious lives and ensured that dacoits would be eliminated from grass route level and help would be sought from other law enforcement agencies if needed.
Another question regarding Shaikh Rasheed, the federal interior minister, coming towards Sindh to review the situation of law and order, he said that neither he nor his office officially informed while such rumors emerged on social media.
Mushtaque Mahar, the IGP Sindh Police, said that Shikarpur police already eliminated terrorists, dacoits, and robbers and now remaining dacoits should also be taken to task.
Regional Police Officer Sukkur Kamran Fazal, DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab Pathan, DIG Sukkur Fida Hussain Mastoi, SSP Shikarpur Ameer Saud Magsi, and other high-level officers were also flanked at the program.
Prior, Nasir Aftab, the Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana range, gave a briefing to the Sayed Murad Ali Shah regarding the law and order situation in the region, problems being faced by Shikarpur Police, and information concerning operation against dacoits.
Apart from this, the CM Sindh directed the officers that all educational and other financial benefits should be provided to the families of martyred cops and in this regard, laziness would not be tolerated.
