PPP holds protest demanding to hand over responsibilities to LG elected representatives

BADIN: As across the province, the massive gathering of the workers, office bearers and the leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Badin led by Pir Noorullah Qureshi, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh, Haji Sain Bux Jamali, General Secretary, PPP district Badin and others have staged the protest against the decision of Election Commission to extend the duration of the local government election schedule for delay assigning the responsibilities of elected representatives of local Government.On the occasion, newly nominated vice Chairman of municipal committee Badin, Ali Akbar Memon,  Abdul Rehman Baloch, General Secretary, PPP Taluka Badin, Mir Abdul Aziz Jamali, Haji Mir Mallah, Meer Murtaza Jamali, Aslam Khuwaja, Haji Hanif Khaskheli, Hajiani Khoso & others were also present.The protest demonstration was held in front of the Badin Press Club and apart from addressing the protest, the party leaders while talking to the journalists at the Badin Press Club while affirming it a conspiracy to keep the elected local government representatives away from their responsibilities, they demanded the Election Commission to withdraw the delay schedule and issue an order for the schedule of fewer days and hand over the responsibilities to the local government representatives immediately basis.On this occasion, the PPP workers while holding  party flags in their hands raised slogans of disapproval of the delay in the local government schedule. The PPP leaders said that the Election Commission should avoid to test the patience of the representatives and party workers of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) adding that the responsibilities should be handed over to the elected local body representatives on immediately basis otherwise the protest will turn to the Election Commission office of Islam. They demanded the Election Commission to heed to our voice and reduce the days of the local government schedule.  The Election Commission should immediately to complete the process and to hand over the responsibilities to the local body representatives.
