Jacobabad: CDF held Advocacy Meeting for CNIC Registration of women

JACOBABAD: NADRA relaxed its policies in formulating ID card Addressing an advocacy event on “CNIC registration campaign in the time of pandemic” held at Jacobabad by Community Development Foundation-CDF expressed by Muhammad Malook Kehar he further added that NADRA has removed the term of fees in NADRA Policy 2018 for the those applicants who register their CNICs firs time, according to NADRA’s policy verification of application forms and other papers for CNIC registration is required by one person Nasrullah Soomro Senior Assistant District Election office was of the view that under new election laws vote can be registered on current or permanent addresses given in the CNIC he also added that general public and literate people don’t visit display centers set by Election Commission to check that their vote is registered on the current or permanent addresses, Jan Odhano from CDF shared that TDEA-FAFEN’s aim is to mainstream the disadvantaged segments i.e women, person with disabilities and trans genders of the society at national level, this is our national and social responsibility to facilitate them in CNIC and voter registration. Hina Brohi and Nadeem Bahrani CDF, Dev Anand from Hindu Panchait, Pastor Sharoon Yousif, Hammadullah Ansari from JUI F, Hidayaytullah Lashari PPP and others addressed the event.
