Unannounced long hours power outages irks the citizens of Badin

BADIN: The unannounced long hours electricity break down in the city and adjoining areas for many days amid heat wave has partially disrupted the routine life while business was halted.
The power outages has suffered commercial and domestic consumers and various shopping centres including of those shop keepers associated with different types of business were facing huge deficit while hundreds of poor labourers and daily wages employees working in mills and shops privately were deprived of wages due to irregular and improper functioning of business causing poverty and unemployment was increasing and poor families were facing hardships to meet two times meal. The non functional and out of order electric transformers installed in different localities of the city were not replaced and maintained and if those were repaired, the citizens tolerate expenses from their own pocket causing citizens were sustaining miserable circumstances. The unannounced electricity failure has created water shortage in the wards and mohallas. The citizens of other towns of the district including Tando Bago, Talhar, Matli, Golarchi, Kadhan, Nindo Shaher, Khoski, Pangrio, Seerani, Kario Ghanwar, Tando Ghulam Ali and others were also facing hardships due to long hours power outages. On the other hand, youths and children were seen bathing in canals and branches of such prolonged electricity failure and increasing heat wave to get themselves cool and reduce the temperature of their body. Meanwhile, demand for selling sugar cane juice, mango juice, ice and other cold drinks was soaring in the city.
