LG election 2023 being held peacefully in district Badin.

BADIN: Local Government Election 2023 was being held across the district peacefully by deploying 4200 police personnel and officers from different district including Mithi, Mirpur Khas, Shaheed Benazir Abad and others amid to maintain law and order situation in the district.
As per the details total 93605 people of Badin district will decide their favored candidates in the LG election 2023 among 507329 men and 428722 women. 1980 candidates are in the field for 63 seats of district Council, 10 town committees and 02 municipal committees. At least 47 candidates of different political parties have been elected unopposed for different slots of the district when four candidates have been expired where election has been announced postponed.
There would be around 656 polling stations in all the 05 talukas of which 138 have been declared as most sensitive and about 2291 polling both among 1197 for men & 1094 for women have been established for smooth voting and total 695 presiding officers, 4585 Assistant presiding officers, and 2291 other polling staff is performing their duties.
