Heavy rains were recorded in different parts of Balochistan.
According to reports, strong gusts of westerly winds entered North Balochistan, followed by heavy rains at various places along Gwadar, Pasni, Jivani, Quetta, Chaman and Quetta-Zhob highways.
Authorities have instructed freighters and passenger vehicles to avoid unnecessary travel.
On the other hand, it is likely to rain with thunder in Karachi from this evening or night.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be moderate to heavy rains in Karachi. The intermittent rains are likely to continue till January 7.
