7th population, Housing Digital Census-2022 inaugurated in Badin

BADIN: The 7th Population & Housing Digital Census-2022 has been inaugurated in Badin by ADC-I Najeeb Rehman Jamali on Wednesday while assigning the Census number to a house at Agrovil Colony Badin along with ADC-II Waqar Ahmed Kalwar and other Census staff.

Adding Najeeb Rehman Jamali said that it is our prior responsibility to take active part in the Digital Census-2022 to register all members of the our family saying said that all Census staff must assure that all residents of the district have been registered saying that active citizens should also come forward to mobilize the people of the district for registration of their family members properly in the Digital Census-2022.

Najeeb Rehman said that all faced issues of the Census teams would be resolved on the priority basis saying that more than 1.8 population including men, women and children of district Badin would be the target of the Census team and it would be covered within a month span of the time.

While talking, ADC-II Waqar Ahmed Kalwar & Assistant Commissioner Badin, Mohammad Majid Altaf said that media and NGOs were also playing a pivotal role in this Digital Census regarding the awareness and mobilization of the common people and citizens of the district Badin as entire target to be achieved within set timeframe of the digital Census-2022. He stressed the common people of the district Badin to assure that they have been registered in the digital Census though there were some challenges regarding the door to door registration of the people but he hoped that within limitation of the funds and short times span, the Census team will covered all the areas and will achieve the assigned targets.

Earlier, an awareness seminar was also organized by the district administration at Darbar Hall Badin under the objective to guide the Census teams regarding the common people registration and also discussed the challenges and issues of the census teams regarding the Census-2022. The seminar was participated by the large number of the members of Census teams, representatives of Education Department, NGOs and other Govt officials & citizens of district Badin when Assistant Commissioners of all Talukas of district Badin also inaugurated the same at headquarters of their Talukas.
