Badin marks Pakistan Day with patriotic zeal and zest

BADIN: The Pakistan Day was celebrated in across the district, Badin as elsewhere in the country on Wednesday with national zeal and fervor and with renewed the commitment to commemorate the Pakistan Resolution passed on 23rd March and the national flag was hoisted atop of all major and important government, historic and private buildings which were decorated with colorful lights and buntings to mark the day.

The main ceremony was organized by district administration led by Agha Shahnawaz Khan, Deputy Commissioner Badin, in Gym Khana Badin which was kicked off with hoisting and saluting the flag.

The students of different schools, colleges and Laar University Campus have also delivered their speeches on the occasion and Deputy Commissioner Badin; Agha Shahnawaz Khan has honored the students with winning awards.

On the occasion, Agha Shahnawaz Khan, Deputy Commissioner Badin, while addressing the participants reaffirmed his commitment to making the district a humane, prosperous and progressive district adding he underlined the need to adhere the principles of unity, faith and discipline given by the Qauid.

Agha Shahnawaz Khan said that we will leave no stone unturned to make district progressive and all possible efforts would be taken for the welfare and progress of the people of district Badin. The educational institutions would be provided and equipped with all basic facilities as children can easily achieve their objectives and turn true their dreams.

While addressing the participants, Lieutenant Colonel, Rangers, Commander Akmal Basheer said that Pakistan Day was an important landmark in the nation’s history adding that the day provides us an opportunity every year to renew our commitment to making our country a true welfare and progressive. He urged the participants and citizens to learn from the past and strive towards true Pakistan which advocates for peace, inclusion and prosperity.

On the occasion, Muhammad Hassan Baloch, Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Badin, Liaquat Ali Lund, ADC-II Badin, Sher Muhammad Nohrio, District Health Officer, Badin, Lala Dildar Pathan, President, Bar Association Badin and others also spoke on occasion.

When a number of programs were also arranged throughout the district by different educational, social and government organizations and institutes in throughout the district and it is pertinent to mention that day was celebrated under Theme of “Shaad Rahy Pakistan”.

On the occasion ‘Green Pakistan campaign’ was also kicked off while planting the tree samplings in the premise’s of Gym Khana Badin by the guests.
