Senior political worker, MRD activist Somar Malha appeals for assistance

A stalwart supporter of the Pakistan Peoples Party Somar Malha is living a hard life in his thatched house in Ghorbari town of Thatta. Sommar Malha was among the staunch supporters (Jiyala) of Pakistan Peoples Party,s founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and his daughter Benazir Bhutto and contributed a lot to the party. One of his family members said that; He was afflicted with lung disease and had been bed-ridden for a long time.

Recalling the days of MRD Somar Mallah Said; I suffered ignominious torture when I was sent behind the bars during MRD Movement.
Somar Malha was appointed the vice president of Pakistan Peoples Party Taluka Ghorabari and he played a pivotal role in making Thatta an impregnable fort of Pakistan Peoples Party.

A family member said that; Many times the rivals of PPP compelled him to change his loyalty and part his ways with PPP but he refused and suffered bigotry on account of his refusal.
He requested Bilawal Bhutto Zardari the Party Chairman for assistance and said that; he would remain loyal to the party till his last breath
