KARACHI: Spokesperson Bilawal House has officially announced the wedding date of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, daughter of former Prime Minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and former President Asif Ali Zardari and released the schedule of celebrations.
According to Bilawal House spokesperson, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s simple henna ceremony will be held on January 27 and the marriage ceremony will be held on January 29, while Bakhtawar’s barat ceremony will be held on January 30.
The spokesman said that one thousand guests have been invited to Bakhtawar’s wedding in which invitations have also been sent to important political leaders, military, civil and judicial leaders of the country.
According to the spokesperson, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has suspended political activities for a week on his sister’s wedding.
It may be recalled that the engagement of Bakhtawar Bhutto and Mahmood Chaudhry took place on November 27 last year at the premises of Bilawal House in Karachi to which a limited number of people were invited.
