Boiler explosion in Karachi: Death toll rises to 10

KARACHI: A boiler exploded in an ice house in New Karachi area of ​​Karachi yesterday, killing 10 people.

The roof of a factory collapsed due to a boiler explosion in an ice house in New Karachi yesterday and other factories were also damaged.
Eight people were killed in the incident while two more died today and 30 people were injured in the accident.

Taking notice of the incident, Sindh Chief Minister has demanded a detailed report from the Labor Department.

In the initial investigation, the police have identified the gas leak as the cause of the explosion. According to the police, there was no boiler in the factory. It is suspected that the explosion was caused by the release of ammonia gas.
