Canada instructed its citizens not to travel to certain places in Pakistan, including Karachi.

A travel advisory issued by Canada to its citizens states that Canadians should exercise caution in Pakistan in the face of unforeseen security situation.
Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has also reacted to the advisory issued by Canada.

Sheikh Rashid said that Pakistan is a peaceful country for foreigners in all respects, there is no threat of terrorism for foreigners in Pakistan, all sects and schools of thought are living happily in Pakistan.

Sheikh Rashid added that there is no issue with Canadian citizens or they need security, Canada has not contacted Pakistan on this issue.
