THATTA: Libertarians, historians, poets, writers, and people from different walks of life gathered in Jhimpir to attend an event organized on the eve of the Chehalem of a renowned story writer, ideologists, and educationists Rasool Bux Dars here on Saturday evening.
Speakers at the event Iqbal Rind, Nawaz Shah Badahi, Dr. Niaz Kalhani, Nawaz Khan Zahur, Taj Joyo, and others said that; Rasool Bux Dars was a multi skillful personality, who crafted and inscribed the future of Sindh through his stories, he created awareness about the issues Sindh was going to face in future through his literary work.
They further said that as a teacher he graced thousands of students with the jewel of knowledge he was adherent of GM Syed and his philosophy and kept preaching his message for the rest of his life.
Speakers also highlighted his ability of understanding music and the real meaning of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittais poetry. Noted journalists Mahbbob Brohi, Ramzan Memon, Aziz Gopang, and others also praised his contributions in the area of literature.
Singers and poets also paid homage to the literary virtuoso in their style, earlier the guests at the event laid floral wreaths on the grave of Rasool Bux Dars. The event that started in the evening continued till dawn.
